The aromatics are lively with immediate floral, cinnamon, and strawberry notes. It is elegant on the palate, but still quite round for a rose, with strawberry tart and rosewater perfume as well as plethora of berries.
White peach, honeysuckle and underpinning nutmeg spice just begin to describe the nose. Hints of vanilla, lily’s and soapstone minerality add to the complex fragrance.
This beautiful ruby red incredibly fragrant wine is immediate with pomegranate, white chocolate, and black pepper. There are also underpinning elements of cherry pit, spring rain and gravel minerality.
The 2016 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is deep purple to the core. Blueberry pie, cloves and black plum jump from the glass. The nose is also filled with anise, cedar and black pepper.
The 2019 Spring Mountain Cabernet is one concentrated wine. The opaque purple color is much darker than previous years. The aromatics fill the air with cassis, dark plum and black licorice.
2017 is the second year we are doing our MMV. This dark purple wine is a blockbuster, with massive blackberry fruit, bright cocoa nib, and fresh ground pepper jumping out of the glass.
