True to Petit Verdot’s nature the wine is very dark purple to the core. There is great complexity to the nose, aromas of black plum, dark cherry, white pepper as well as cola and crushed violets. The wine is rich and plump, then the tannins start to emerge where mocha, anise and cherry tart are present. Although there is a good amount of acidity, the chalky tannins run the palate. This wine will benefit greatly, rewarding those willing to wait 14-15 years
