2006 Sangiacomo Vineyard Chardonnay

The Sangiacomo family has been farming in the Sonoma Valley since 1927. They began farming grapes in 1969 and since then they have grown to over a 1000 acres of vineyard. We have been sourcing fruit from Sangiacomo since 1994 garnering the knowledge and skills of growers Mike and Steve Sangiacomo. The blocks that we have selected are some of their most sought after and contain a variety of clonal variation. The clones are Wente from the Vella Block, Dijon 76 from the Bates Ranch and Dijon 95 from Southern Sonoma. We feel that the unique characters from these blocks create a layering of flavors that express the Chardonnay varietal from the Carneros AVA.
