Jacquelyn St. Martin
Jacquelyn relocated in 2007 from Austin Texas to St. Helena California to follow her passion for the wine industry.
Jacquelyn grew up in Spring Texas, just north of Houston. She obtained a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 2001. The first years of her professional marketing career were in jewelry merchandising and marketing, as an Assistant Buyer with Bailey Banks & Biddle at Zale Corporation World Headquarters in Las Colinas, Texas. She also worked for a nationally recognized women's fashion boutique in Austin, Texas; The Garden Room.
Jacquelyn realized wine was her destiny after visiting Italy in 2005 and touring through some of the most storied and renowned wine growing regions of Italy. Her passion for wine matured into a full-fledged obsession and professional calling.
In 2007, Jacquelyn completed Levels I & II Certification with the International Sommelier Guild in Austin. Knowing that she wanted to immerse herself in the wine industry, Napa was a natural fit for relocation. After meeting the Barnett team & tasting their wines she knew this was her ideal job. In 2008 she added an Advanced Certification, passing with distinction, through Wine Spirit Education Trust to her education, and is currently working on her diploma.
After almost 4 years with the Barnett Team, Jacquelyn has now taken the position of the Barnett Vineyards National Sales Representative. If she doesn't greet you with a glass of wine at the vineyard when you visit, she may see you on the road for a wine dinner in your home state!
